This snippets is from my current WIP, Stevie & Mack, the second in my Barista Boys series. As yet unedited, forgive a little clumsiness. Planning on a September release, but we all know about best laid plans...
So close, Mack's warm silky breath wafted over Stevie's lips. So close, Mack was so damn close. Close enough to hold, close enough to touch and close enough to kiss. In the bar, in the flickering lamplight that bathed them in dancing shadows, Stevie closed his eyes and melted into the softest, sweetest kiss. The gentle hum of the bar faded to nothing. All there was was sensation. Heat and wetness, yielding tongues and lips, little gasps of wonder and delight. Like the taste of the wine on his lips, Mack's kiss was sweet and rich and deep, as deep as a yet uncharted ocean.
"Jesus, Stevie." Mack's voice was deep and rough, the quiver as unmistakable as the tremble of his lips against Stevie's. Mack rested his forehead against Stevie's, his breathing deep and laboured. "What the hell just happened?"
"I think you kissed me." And knocked my world from its axis, Mack Porter, and left me spinning out of control.
